Vintage Shells

Hand selected collection of vintage shells. Dated 1777, it features hand laid cotton paper and hand coloring. Published as part of the “L’Encyclopedie Methodique”, in Paris, the full series is not commonly found. Engraved by Benard Direxit, who brings his images to life with shadowing and shade.
